Mikrotik merupakan produk dari Mikrotik Ltd yang berasal dari Latvia ini merupakan perangkat router yang menggunakan Mikrotik RouterOS yang menyediakan fungsi remote administration, ip addressing and routing, interfaces, Virtual Private Networking (VPN), authentication, authorization, accounting & monitoring, firewall & Quality of Service (QoS), plug-and-play network access, system information & utilities, diagnostics tools, dan High Availability (HA).

Koneksi Layer 2:

License Level RouterOS

  • Level 3 digunakan untuk router interface ethernet, 
  • Level 4 digunakan untuk wireless client atau serial interface

  • Level 6 tidak mempunyai limitasi apapun. 
Untuk aplikasi hotspot, bisa digunakan level 4 (200 pengguna), level 5 (500 pengguna) dan level 6 (tidak terbatas).
